about

Scotchamo - "Station to Stereo"
Performed before a LIVE audience from the WXOX ARTxFM Performance Studio - broadcasted and streamed world-wide
Friday, March 29, 2024

On March 29 (Good Friday), Scotchamo performed his latest conceptual, improvisational musical/sound collage, "Station to Stereo", a 14 (+/-) movement piece that found inspiration from David Bowie's "Station to Station" song/album, the Stations of the Cross as a religion story, the magic of radio waves, and cosmic space travel.

Movements on this track 1
Intro with Jaw Harp
Hangtime in the Garden
High Priests
Water to Blood (the Hands of Pilate)
Crown of Thrones
5480 Blows
The Cross Parade
Simon of Cyrene

Movements on this track 2
Veronica's Veil
Stripped and Nailed
Conversations on a Crossbeam (with a thief and father)
Breath, Death, Quake
A Tomb with a Rock
Rise

The album is a mix of two recordings- one pulled directly from the audio board before it was broadcasted LIVE and the other recording captures the room sound in the performance space. Other than the combining of the multiple tracks, the audio is unedited.
